ANALOG ICs

Analog integrated circuits (ICs) are, functionally speaking, an interface between the digital world of 1’s and 0’s and the real world. Since we can’t see, feel or hear digital signals, analog ICs (also called linear ICs) are needed to link digital electronics to the tangible world. By this we mean that any electronic device, such as a computer, telephone, or electronic game, needs to transmit information to its user, and the mechanisms to do so are analog in nature.

Amplifying and sensing signals, powering speakers and display screens, activating electronic switches, and controlling electric motors are fundamental examples of how analog ICs are applied. Other functions like conditioning electrical power to various usable forms, converting between different types of signals, and manipulating voltage and current, are also considered analog and are integral to all electronic systems.

Our Analog ICs are classified into the following categories:

  • Operational Amplifiers (Op-Amps)
  • Comparators
  • Oscillators
