Cholesteric technology is the world's best ePaper for high contrast monochrome and color applications and has been called "the best" color ePaper available on the market today. The image lasts decades once written, however, the high voltage and highly capacitive requirements of the displays require significant currents to charge quickly enough for fast refresh.

Linear Dimensions enables this fast refresh with its high current, 60V, 160 channel 8 input row and column drivers. The LND8924 is available for chip on flex and chip on glass applications. A high speed 8 MHz digital bus allows simultaneous loading of 8 channels at a time for fast response.

Linear Dimensions also offers signage drivers for LEDs such as our LND8925, which includes 12 channels capable of 40mA at 60V inputs.
